BookingTek is a London based software business focused on producing innovative enterprise grade direct booking solutions for large chains of hotels and restaurants.
We built the very first online meeting booking and payment solution for hotels and have gone on to produce an innovative range of products that includes group bedroom booking, restaurant floor management and direct restaurant reservation systems. Most recently we have developed a customer-facing restaurant order/pay mobile app.
BookingTek is an Oracle Gold Partner. All our products can be delivered stand-alone, but they also integrate, by default, with the compatible Oracle hospitality system like Opera PMS and Simphony POS. This approach enables quick and easy deployment, by large groups, across multiple geographies.
BookingTek was founded in 2011 and since then has become a leader in the development of direct meeting and restaurant booking solutions for the world’s largest hotel groups.

The company changes its name to BookingTek which more accurately reflects the nature of the business
Launch CompareMeetings.com, a multi-brand, third party website that delivers OTA style bookings
Complete a unique integration with Oracle MICROS Opera via OWS-C, an interface MICROS reintroduces when they see how valuable Meetings Maker will be to their existing hotel clients
Raise an additional £1 million of funding, from existing investors, to develop software to automate meeting booking and payment on hotel websites
On-request meeting rooms are added to the site and we identify what looks like a huge gap in the market – no hotel or online travel agent (OTA) has real-time, meeting booking on their website
The response from venues is overwhelming and the site rapidly grows to 500 venues in 10 countries
The fledgling business launches the world’s first website enabling online booking and payment of day offices
